Position Overview:

The Senior ESG and Sustainability Manager plays a crucial role in advancing Wolf & Badger's mission as the premier destination for conscious consumers seeking independent ethical brands. This position will lead and implement the organization’s sustainability strategies, roadmap, and the acclaimed vetting process for brands. A profound understanding of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) challenges is essential, along with the capability to weave sustainability into the fabric of our business operations, ensuring Wolf & Badger remains at the forefront of ethical fashion and lifestyle.

Core ResponsibilitiesExecution
  • Oversee the daily operations of our award-winning ESG vetting process for independent brands, continuously enhancing the criteria to ensure they are industry-leading and aligned with current policies.
  • Collaborate with various teams to compile our annual ESG impact report.
  • Establish and uphold ESG and sustainability policies within the organization.
  • Track and report on sustainability performance using a data-driven approach to ensure transparency.
  • Lead initiatives to map carbon emissions and integrate improvements into business operations to achieve carbon reduction goals.
  • Champion the integration of B Corp values across the organization and work to enhance our B Impact Assessment score.
  • Prepare and present monthly and annual ESG reports for stakeholders.
  • Assist the brands team with quality assurance and other operational support.
Innovation
  • Develop a robust system to ensure the highest quality of products and brands, promoting sustainable materials and positively influencing the fashion industry.
  • Seek partnerships with affiliations and certifications that align with our sustainability goals.
  • Work with the Marketing Team to effectively communicate our ESG achievements to customers.
  • Identify and implement innovative practices in sustainability.
  • Stay informed on sustainability trends and regulatory changes through external events and webinars.
  • Drive continuous improvements in sustainability performance through analysis and feedback.
Fairness
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
  • Educate stakeholders on best practices and compliance with green claims.
  • Maintain our relationship with the UN Global Compact and report on necessary insights.
  • Keep our CSR policy current and enforce its guidelines.
  • Lead responses to any ESG violation reports.
  • Foster a culture of sustainability within the organization through training and awareness initiatives.
