We are seeking a talented and experienced Home Manager to lead our luxury nursing home in Derbyshire. As a Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the home, ensuring that we provide high-quality care and support to our residents, while meeting financial targets and maintaining full occupancy.

You will be supported externally by dedicated Operations and Central teams, and within the home, you will have the support of a Deputy Manager and Administrator, as well as Hospitality and Housekeeping teams. These teams will collaborate with you to ensure smooth operations and exceptional care for residents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership and direction to the home's staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
  • Recruiting, training, motivating, and retaining a team of skilled care professionals who are committed to delivering person-centred care.
  • Ensuring that the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintaining excellent standards of care and support.
  • Managing the home's budget, ensuring that financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed.
  • Developing and implementing a well-thought-out marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home's services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.
  • Having oversight of all records to ensure that the home's administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Continuously monitoring and evaluating the home's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Managing and mitigating risks effectively, ensuring that the home is a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.
