About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee and manage our production processes, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled with high quality, on time, within budget, and safely. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading a production department in the pharmaceuticals or medical devices sector, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities- Production Planning and Control: Effectively plan, organize, and conduct activities within the production department to achieve common objectives and meet production targets.
- Quality and Compliance: Identify and report deviations from planned requirements, implementing corrective actions as needed to meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Team Leadership and Development: Take a hands-on approach to understanding and facilitating the daily needs of the production team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations, and actively support recruitment, development, and training of staff.
- Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Manage and coordinate key performance indicators (KPIs) to continuously enhance manufacturing performance, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations.
- Communication and Collaboration: Lead by example, motivating and guiding employees towards common goals, and maintain good cooperation with colleagues from other departments to support continuous improvement processes.
An ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in production management, with a proven track record of leading a production department in the pharmaceuticals or medical devices sector. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with a focus on motivating and guiding employees towards common goals. They will also have a strong analytical mindset, with the ability to effectively identify and resolve problems, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a working knowledge of ERP systems.
