About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pain Management Specialist to join our team at Connect Health. As a Pain Management Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and groups, as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver effective and sensitive pain management interventions to patients, taking into account their individual needs and circumstances.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive pain management plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting self-management strategies and empowering them to take control of their pain.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols, ensuring that pain management practices are evidence-based and effective.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans.
Requirements
  • Professional registration with the relevant healthcare regulatory body (e.g. NMC, HCPC).
  • Background in physiotherapy, nursing, or occupational therapy.
  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team and delivering pain management interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and their application in pain management.
