About Our Nursery Manager Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Nursery Manager to join our dedicated team at Busy Bees Nurseries. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in contributing to the growth and success of our nurturing setting.

About the Role

  • As an Assistant Nursery Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities and provide exemplary care to our children.
  • You will ensure every individual child's needs are met, including supporting parents with any Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Alternative and Augmentative Language (ASL) requirements.
  • Establish strong relationships with parents and guardians, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Assist the Nursery Manager in resolving complaints and concerns in a timely manner and report these to the Regional Manager.
  • Support, supervise, train, and appraise all staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice and develop open and positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Encourage and praise children's development and achievements, promoting a culture of excellence in childcare.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and ensure the highest standards of health and safety.

About You

  • You will hold at least a Level 3 Childcare qualification and have previous experience working as an Assistant Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager.
  • You will be passionate about early childhood development and have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality childcare.
  • You will be an effective communicator and team player, with excellent leadership and management skills.
