About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Highways Technology Engineer to join our Transportation team at Kier Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and leading various technology scheme designs from conception through to the completion of Preliminary Design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the creation of technical documentation, including drawings, BoQs, reports, business cases, and risk registers.
  • Manage and lead teams, providing guidance and feedback to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and high-quality output.
  • Engage with clients and design disciplines to define requirements and drive completion of works.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures for work activities, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide regular project updates on progress, spend, and risk mitigation.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of delivery in ITS consultancy, design, and/or project management.
  • Knowledge of ITS, National Highways Technology Assets, Infrastructure, IoT, Telco, IP technologies, and their applications against the services Kier Transportation supplies.
  • Possess a relevant tertiary qualification in engineering/science-related subject.
