Account Director Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Account Director to join our National Markets UK Broker team at Markel. As an Account Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing account plans to ensure Markel is a preferred insurer for our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and develop account plans with strategic brokers to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Lead key relationships at central and local levels within broker organizations to ensure strategic development plans are implemented.
  • Manage internal activity across business development, new business underwriting, and renewals to ensure targets are met.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Strategic's to support central engagement with partner brokers and provide results and feedback/action plans.
  • Possess a deep understanding of Markel's risk appetite and product offerings.
  • Demonstrate sales professionalism and discipline through timely and accurate activity reporting.
  • Utilize data to performance manage deal delivery and instigate corrective action as necessary.
