Walsh Employment is a leading provider of innovative solutions to the energy sector. We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Solutions Architect to join our team and contribute to the development of our technology strategy.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Enterprise Solutions Architect to lead the development of our technology architecture and drive digital transformation across our corporate functions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development and experience in managing teams of Solution Architects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a technology architecture strategy that aligns with business objectives
  • Lead a team of Solution Architects to deliver solutions to stakeholders across the business
  • Work closely with Senior Managers and key stakeholders to drive collaboration and communication between teams
  • Develop and maintain a clear roadmap for adopting new features and technologies
  • Manage technical risks across projects and products
  • Line manage and develop a team of Solution Architects and administrative support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM subject
  • 2+ years of experience in Enterprise or Solutions Architecture
  • 2+ years of line management experience
  • Strong background in software development and experience in managing teams
  • Expertise in Cloud technologies and programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, React)
  • Experience in infrastructure technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS, Terraform, Docker containers)
  • Desirable: start-up experience and building from scratch, understanding of UX/UI practices and tools
