Role: Lead Project Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all phases of multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring effective design, estimation, and identification of new business opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that promotes teamwork, initiative, and professional growth.
  • Guide project teams through complex technical challenges.
  • Simultaneously supervise and coordinate multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Formulate strategies, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and execute project plans.
  • Coordinate staffing and workload management throughout the project lifecycle, adhering to established schedules and budgets.
  • Monitor project costs, scope, scheduling, and quality standards.
  • Implement quality assurance and quality control measures while collaborating with internal departments.
  • Prepare comprehensive engineering design reports, project documentation, construction plans, and technical specifications.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager with a background in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
  • Experience managing engineering projects in sectors such as Water Management, Aviation, Utilities, and Civil Engineering.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a history of successful project delivery.
  • Adept at leveraging existing client relationships to cultivate new business opportunities.
  • A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Project management certifications such as APM or PRINCE II are advantageous, with support available for candidates interested in obtaining these qualifications.
  • Willingness to travel to various client and project sites across the UK.
  • Experience managing projects with budgets typically ranging from £20,000 to £250,000 is beneficial.
