We are looking for a leader who can shape and further improve early help and children's social care services, with a proven track record of effective leadership in social care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to improving children's experiences and outcomes, expertise in building the confidence, capabilities, and resilience of the workforce, and a willingness to engage in mentoring or coaching to further develop leadership skills.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, a generous relocation package up to £8,000, a tailored induction to meet their specific learning and support needs, an outstanding core curriculum to support their ongoing leadership development, access to a Cornwall Council lease car, 26 days paid annual leave per year (rising to 29 after 5 years of service), plus bank holidays, and flexible working opportunities.
