Catering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Catering Manager to join our team at Shire Oaks Court care home in Walsall. As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for leading our Catering Team in providing healthy and inviting meals for our residents.

• Manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
• Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.
• Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen assistants to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service.
• Maintain accurate records of food stock, purchases, and waste to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Collaborate with our care team to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care and support.

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home or healthcare setting.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
