We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Manager to join our team at Wilson Vale. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for the daily operation of our kitchen and the preparation and cooking of all food production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production and exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our commitment to fresh, seasonal, and innovative cuisine.
  • Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent performance.
  • Collaborate with our procurement team to source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations, maintaining accurate records and reporting.
  • Manage budgets, ordering, and stock control, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our kitchen team.
  • Work closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop and implement marketing strategies that showcase our culinary expertise.
  • Contribute to the development of our company culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior chef or kitchen manager in a high-end hospitality or contract catering environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to the development of our company culture.
