Key Responsibilities- Negotiate and Influence Senior Stakeholders: Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior collective forums to drive commercial category strategies.
- Deliver Procurement Savings Plans: Develop and implement procurement savings plans to achieve strategic objectives.
- Lead Complex Procurement Projects: Manage and deliver complex procurement projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Manage Contract Reviews: Conduct thorough contract reviews to ensure optimal commercial outcomes.
- Develop Sustainable Procurement Strategies: Develop and implement sustainable procurement strategies to drive business growth and reduce costs.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to all parties involved, ensuring a positive experience.
To be successful in this position, you should have relevant experience managing high-value category management and delivering quantifiable procurement efficiencies. A strong understanding of the police force's operational needs for specific categories and experience in leading and managing procurement projects of significant complexity and value would be desirable.
