Job Title: Lead Application Operations Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT leader to join our team as a Lead Application Operations Engineer. As a key member of our digital transformation team, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting a team of high-performing engineers in delivering complex IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of applications from a technical and IT Service Management perspective, providing incident, change, and problem management.
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership to ensure service issues are rectified and new projects progress effectively.
  • Utilize knowledge of service management frameworks (ITIL4 and Agile) to educate fellow team members and promote automation, service improvements, and the removal of repetitive manual tasks.
  • Experience operating in a senior leadership role, providing task management to teams and building strong relationships with stakeholders and services.
  • Strong technical ability on a range of technologies and systems, resulting in improvements to services and the sharing of best practices across multiple teams.

Requirements:

  • Service Management experience, including practical working knowledge and understanding of ITIL Service Management Framework.
  • Strong technical ability on a range of technologies and systems.
  • Experience operating in a senior leadership role.
