About the Role
Avery Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Unit Manager. As a key member of our care home management team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of nurses, senior carers, and carers to provide staff support and ensure the delivery of exceptional care.
- Enhance and promote the quality of life for our residents through effective care planning and coordination.
- Manage and participate in the rota to ensure that senior care and support are always available.
- Support the Deputy Manager and Clinical Managers in managing medication systems and ordering prescribed medication.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and a passion for leading and developing a team. You will have:
- An active NMC PIN.
- An NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
- At least two years' experience of working within a care home environment.
- The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
