Job Summary

Proactive Appointments is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and responding to potential cyber threats, working closely with our Cyber Security Team to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to security incidents using Microsoft Sentinel and a ticket system.
  • Participate in shifts for a 24hr service coverage rota, including overnight and weekend hours.
  • Assess and respond to potential cyber threats, working closely with our Cyber Security Team.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports, including analytics for our customers.
  • Manage SOC tools, configurations, and updates.

Requirements

  • Microsoft Sentinel operations and administration.
  • Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Graylog SIEM.
  • Experience of Azure cloud services administration.
  • Experience of administration Windows client and server OS.
  • Experience of administration Linux OS.
  • Understanding of Networking and Networking Services.
  • Understanding of internet services, such as DNS, SSL, Domains, IP, and routing.
  • Cloudflare administration experience.
  • Programming/scripting skills, such as C#, Go, Python, PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of hybrid AAD/EntraID and on-premises AD.
  • Use of open-source tools outside standard tooling to gain insights.
