Industrial Engineer (Automation) Role

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer (Automation) to join a leading manufacturing business in Halifax. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in implementing automated processes and driving efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automated manufacturing processes to improve productivity and quality.
  • Lead the selection and acquisition of suitable automation equipment and technology.
  • Optimize workflow and eliminate non-value-added activities to improve efficiency.
  • Develop and implement gauging and instrumentation systems to ensure product quality.
  • Collaborate with customers and suppliers to ensure seamless integration of automation systems.
  • Produce technical documentation and training materials to support automation processes.
  • Conduct analytical studies to support process improvements and automation initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in fabrication and welding, with a degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in an Industrial Engineer or Automation role.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
