About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our Primary Care team at HMP Long Lartin, a category A prison located in Littleton. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient-centered care, focusing on delivering safe and secure medicines management services.
  • Deliver non-judgmental care within the scope of professional standards, involving timely administration of medicines and analyzing cost-effective prescribing.
  • Forge strong links within our teams, partners, and stakeholders, providing a service that people can trust, feel safe within, and feel proud of.

Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Up-to-date with Continual Professional Development (CPD).
  • Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience.
  • General GCSE education or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
