Job Title: Graduate Technical Consultant

We are seeking a talented and motivated Graduate Technical Consultant to join our Technology Consulting practice. As a Graduate Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering technical consultancy and application delivery to our clients, helping them to solve real-world problems and adapt to an ever-changing technical landscape.

About the Role

This is a graduate role that offers the opportunity to work on a range of different projects, providing a broad base of experience from which to build an outstanding career. You will be supporting our team on projects for our private and public sector clients, assisting in the design of bespoke business solutions for implementation into delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting senior consultants to understand client requirements and find appropriate technical solutions and toolsets
  • Developing tactical, short-term solutions to solve business problems using low-code solutions
  • Regular communication with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting technical consulting activities such as architecture development work, setting up governance processes, and providing support for bids on new projects
  • Carrying out technology audits
  • Researching new technologies
  • Helping with internal applications or other work when possible
Requirements

We are looking for candidates who are interested in a career in technology and have a strong desire to deliver the best possible solutions for our clients. You will be confident in critical thinking, enjoy tackling difficult problems in a structured way, and are highly motivated self-starters. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong degree in any discipline
  • Able to demonstrate an aptitude for technology, whether via chosen degree path, related experience, or extracurriculars
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken word, with an ability to successfully engage with team members and clients
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Willingness to continually learn
  • An interest in future technologies
  • Some understanding of the software development lifecycle, including Agile methodologies, is desirable but not essential
