Diagnostic Hardware Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse customer requirements and develop solutions to meet their needs.
- Create electrical schematic drawings for EOL diagnostic hardware using EPLAN and other relevant tools.
- Design and develop 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for EOL diagnostic hardware using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to build the EOL diagnostic hardware and ensure timely delivery.
- Perform on-site testing and validation of EOL diagnostic hardware to ensure it meets the required standards.
- Prepare and deliver customer training on the use and maintenance of EOL diagnostic hardware.
- Develop and maintain related design and user documentation, including user requirements, design specifications, and hardware validation.
- Provide effective communication with customers and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 2 years' experience in electrical hardware design in an industrial environment.
- Demonstrable experience in using electrical schematic drawing tools, such as EPLAN or similar.
- Demonstrable experience in using 2D and 3D drawing tools, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Demonstrable experience in electrical control panel design and manufacture.
- Awareness of electrical safety standards and testing.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Good written and oral English language skills.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic communication protocols, such as DOIP and CAN, and related automotive diagnostic standard requirements.
