About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at SSE Smart Buildings. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering key projects to our clients, ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) and Control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning the installation of BEMS and Control systems outlined by the Project Manager.
  • Composing software strategies and graphics engineering.
  • Performing physical wiring checks and plant startups, providing technical support to other trades and subcontractors, and carrying out troubleshooting to diagnose system defects.
Requirements
  • Experience commissioning BEMS and Control systems, especially with Siemens PX and Trend IQ4 controls. (Niagara, Tridium, Distech advantageous)
  • Exceptional communication and reporting skills are a must-have for maintaining strong relationships with team members and customers.
  • Experience crafting your own software strategies and graphics, and your professionalism and dedication are unmatched.
  • Driving license is required due to frequent travel.
