Job Title: Commissioning Engineer - Smart Buildings

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team in the East/West Midlands region. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering key projects to our clients, ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of Building Management Systems (BMS) and control systems.

About the Role

This is a field-based position, requiring frequent travel to client sites. You will be supported by a team based in Birmingham and will work closely with project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning the installation of BEMS and control systems, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Developing and implementing software strategies and graphics engineering to optimize system performance.
  • Performing physical wiring checks and plant start-ups, providing technical support to other trades and sub-contractors, and troubleshooting system defects.
Requirements
  • Experience commissioning BEMS and control systems, particularly with Siemens PX and Trend IQ4 controls.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of building control technologies, including smart energy infrastructure solutions.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
