Optalis, a leading provider of adult social care services, is seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee two Extra Care locations in Woodley. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the wellbeing and safety of our customers, while also leading a team of care staff and supporting their career development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care services to customers
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Extra Care locations, including staff management and customer support
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and outcomes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior or service management role in adult social care
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, staff, and other stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of adult social care policies and procedures, including safeguarding and data protection
