About the Role

The Hospital Director will be responsible for the overall management and direction of the hospital, ensuring that it operates efficiently and effectively in line with the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Hospital's Senior Management Team (SMT) to achieve financial and operational targets
  • Ensure the delivery of day-to-day services in line with legal requirements
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Manage and direct a team of healthcare professionals to achieve high-quality patient care
  • Chair the monthly Clinical Governance Meetings and quarterly Medical Advisory Committee meetings
  • Work closely with the HR function to establish and direct a recruitment and retention plan
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working at a senior level in a similar setting, with operational and financial planning experience. They will also have experience of commercial accountability with regards to cost control and financial performance.

Additionally, the candidate will be expected to have a thorough understanding of developing services for healthcare and a strong record of accomplishment and innovation.
