About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Finance Project Analyst to join our team at Love Success Recruitment. As a Trade Finance Project Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our business lines by providing expertise in Trade Finance transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Transaction Analysis**: Conduct in-depth analysis of all transactions across various entities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • **Reporting and Compliance**: Develop and maintain internal reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • **Risk Mitigation**: Identify and mitigate risks associated with Trade Finance transactions, including KRI reporting, operational error resolution, and compliance screening.
  • **Process Improvement**: Proactively learn and understand the mechanics of Trade Finance, procedures, and system requirements to optimize processes.
  • **System Management**: Ensure correct use of systems and processing tools to maintain high customer service levels.
  • **Adherence to Procedures**: Adhere to Head Office and Internal Operating procedures to produce accurate work, maintaining a professional image of the Bank.
  • **Support Initiatives**: Collaborate with Project Managers and Business Analysts to support strategic planning and projects.
  • **Workflow and Procedure Creation**: Develop and maintain workflow and written procedures to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
  • **Trade Finance Expertise**: Deep understanding of Trade Finance products, including Import and Export LCs, Guarantees, Collections, Discounting, Forfaiting, Confirmations, and Risk Participations.
  • **Industry Knowledge**: Sufficient knowledge of UCP 600, ISP98, URDG 758, URC 522, and other relevant ICC publications.
  • **Compliance**: Knowledge of Money Laundering procedures and UK Proceeds of Crime Act.
  • **Sanctions Awareness**: Awareness of UK and OFAC sanction policies and experience with Restricted Counterparty Checks.
  • **Technical Skills**: High-level experience with Microsoft Office Manager Products and basic knowledge of SWIFT Alliance (MT202, MT103, all MT4 series, all MT7 series).
  • **Interpersonal Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear communication to staff at all levels.
  • **Organizational Skills**: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • **Analytical Skills**: Critical thinking to evaluate options and make informed business decisions.
  • **Problem-Solving**: Ability to adapt to change and unexpected developments, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • **Reporting and Documentation**: Excellent reporting and documentation skills to ensure concise and informative communication.
  • **Industry Knowledge**: Sound knowledge of the Banking industry.
  • **Numerical and Analytical Skills**: Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • **Collaborative Nature**: Collaborative nature to contribute to a successful performance.
  • **Project Governance**: Experience with project governance.
  • **EMEA Hub Experience**: Experience working in an EMEA Hub environment.
