Position: Senior Civil Engineer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join a prominent Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy. This role will involve working on a diverse range of Residential and Commercial Development projects, with a focus on Roads and Highway initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct feasibility studies and prepare essential documentation such as Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Statements.
  • Manage project procurement and oversee contractor activities on-site.
  • Engage in the design and detailing of works related to highway and drainage agreements.
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss project progress and requirements.
  • Supervise highway maintenance schemes to ensure compliance with design specifications.

Position Requirements:
  • MEng, BEng, or BSc degree with a focus on Civil Engineering, aiming for Chartered status.

  • Experience in drafting reports, including Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Statements.
  • Capability to design foul and surface water drainage systems and conduct vehicle swept path assessments.
  • Familiarity with ground modeling software for horizontal and vertical alignment design.
  • Experience negotiating with highway and drainage authorities, as well as the Environment Agency.
  • Solid understanding of national regulations and guidelines.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Adept at thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
