**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced SEND Teacher to join our team at an 'Outstanding' school in Newcastle. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for transforming the lives of vulnerable learners and a proven track record of delivering holistic and engaging sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality teaching sessions to meet the needs of students with Additional Educational Needs (AEN)
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to promote student progress and achievement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Conduct regular progress monitoring and assessments to inform teaching and learning
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a seamless transition of students
Requirements:
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS / PGCE / B.Ed / PTLLS / DTLLS / CELTA)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience in a SEND setting
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs
  • Knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (we can assist with obtaining this)
  • Two professional references
