Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Tranquil Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services by conducting non-destructive testing and inspection activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Non-Destructive Testing: Perform daily, monthly, and annual checks on products and equipment to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Set Up and Standardize Equipment: Configure and calibrate equipment to ensure accurate and reliable testing results.
- Interpret and Evaluate Results: Analyze test data and make informed decisions about product acceptance or rejection.
- Document Results: Maintain accurate and detailed records of testing activities and results.
- Train and Supervise: Provide guidance and supervision to trainees and Level 1 personnel in non-destructive testing techniques.
- Develop Techniques and Data Cards: Create and update product techniques and data cards in line with company and process-specific procedures.
- Participate in Audits: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Non-Conformance Processing: Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.
- Review Calibration Records: Verify the accuracy and reliability of equipment calibration records.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing process improvements and enhancements in non-destructive testing.
Requirements:
- Education and Certification: GCSEs (or equivalent) and/or relevant work experience, with Level 2 certification in non-destructive testing (fluorescent penetrant inspection) and radiographic inspection (desirable).
- Skills and Knowledge: Basic knowledge of product manufacturing and inspection technology, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in computer software and systems, with the ability to learn new technologies as needed.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm and Friday: 6:00 am - 1:00 pm (with a 12% shift premium).
