Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Non-Destructive Testing Specialist. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for carrying out plant inspections, coordinating and supervising inspection activities, producing high-quality inspection reports, and reviewing and authorizing inspection reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out plant inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate and supervise inspection activities, including site visits and outage inspections.
  • Produce high-quality inspection reports that meet client requirements.
  • Review and authorize inspection reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Estimate and manage project costs to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and good practices.
Requirements:
  • Good practical experience in the inspection of plant components, particularly steam and water pressure parts.
  • Appreciation of damage and degradation mechanisms that can occur on inspected components.
  • PCN Level 2D certification in magnetic particle testing, penetrant testing, and ultrasonic testing of welds.
  • Desirable qualifications include PCN Level 2 in phased array ultrasonic testing and/or TOFD, and PCN Level 3 in any testing method.
  • Project management experience and a NEBOSH General Certificate are also highly desirable.
