Job Description
The Heart of Worcestershire College is seeking a skilled Learning Skills Development Officer to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing learning skills programs that enhance the academic and personal growth of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver learning skills programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to integrate learning skills into the curriculum.
- Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of learning skills programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to students in developing their learning skills, including literacy and numeracy.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in learning skills development and implement new strategies and techniques in the workplace.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
- Experience in developing and delivering learning skills programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
- Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation.
Working Conditions
The successful candidate will be based at the Heart of Worcestershire College, but may be required to work at other locations from time to time. The college operates an occupational pension scheme and offers a range of benefits, including annual leave and training opportunities.
