About Us:

Trafford Council's Ascot House Intermediate Care Unit provides a 24-hour setting for patients who require therapy and rehabilitation. Our team of healthcare professionals work together to support patients with personal care, medication management, and therapy plans. Our goal is to empower patients to regain their confidence and independence, enabling them to return home.

About the Role:

As a Support Worker (Nights) at Ascot House Intermediate Care Unit, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working alongside nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers. Your role will involve providing support to patients with personal care, helping them to build a picture of their needs, and promoting their independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist patients with medication management and therapy plans
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to promote patient independence and confidence
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress

About You:
