Support Worker Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Trafford. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and support to individuals with a learning disability, enabling them to live independently and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with a learning disability, including assistance with daily living tasks and activities.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high-quality service is delivered.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of individual care plans and support strategies.
Requirements:
  • Kindness, compassion, and a respectful approach to working with individuals with a learning disability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work positively in a team and contribute to a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work shifts, including sleep-ins.
  • Good standard of written English and ability to maintain accurate records.
