Gregory Distribution is seeking a skilled Business Continuity Planner to ensure the organization's ability to recover from disruptions and maintain business operations. This 12-month contract position is based in Cullompton and requires a strong understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement business continuity plans to ensure alignment with organizational needs.
- Design and deliver workshops, training, and exercises to promote effective business continuity and resilience planning.
- Prepare monthly reports on operational team performance and set up project timelines, records, and actions.
- Establish a maintenance program for business continuity plans.
- Develop processes and protocols for translating business priorities into actionable business continuity plans.
- Support depot managers and central functions to achieve effective business continuity planning.
- Chair and lead operational meetings to ensure project and information delivery.
- Level 4 or above qualification in Business Continuity, Emergency Planning, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics or a transferable skill set from an alternative industry.
- Knowledge of BCP professional practices and data analytical concepts is beneficial.
- Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
- 12-month contract.
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 17:00 hours.
