We are seeking a highly skilled Business Continuity Specialist to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Business Continuity Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business continuity planning is aligned with our organisational culture and that our plans are developed, reviewed, and tested based on a risk assessment schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain business continuity plans to ensure that our organisation can continue to operate effectively in the event of a disruption.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure that business continuity plans are implemented and maintained.
- Provide training and support to staff on business continuity planning and risk management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that business continuity plans are aligned with organisational goals.
- Monitor and report on business continuity performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Level 4 or above qualification in Business Continuity, Emergency Planning, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business continuity planning and risk management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Current driving licence and ability to travel to different sites within the Gregory Group.
