About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supply team and support children with special educational needs across primary and secondary schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with special educational needs, including those with autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
  • Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and adapting learning activities to suit students' needs.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and encourage positive social interactions.
  • Support teachers in preparing and delivering tailored learning materials.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, ideally with a minimum of [X] years in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies to support students effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with children with SEN.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different school settings and student needs.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
