Job Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

Leader Education is recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to work at Schools based in and around the Bradford area. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children/young adults with SEN needs.

Our schools cater for pupils with a wide range of SEN needs, including eating disorder, moderate learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties, anxiety, depression, PMLD, hearing impairment, visual impairment, and autistic spectrum disorder.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A passion for working with children with additional needs
  • Experience of working with children and young adults with challenging behaviour
  • Provide calming and nurturing support for some of the most vulnerable students with EHCP's
  • Be able to commute in the area
  • A passion for the progress of children with SEN needs
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • Moving and Handling
