Job Purpose:

To manage the movement of jobs and job cards around the shop floor, ensuring efficient production processes and timely delivery of goods. This role involves updating the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system, advising production controllers of job locations and potential issues, and coordinating the movement of jobs, fixtures, and materials throughout the manufacturing facility.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Consistently update the MRP system with accurate job location information.
  2. Coordinate the movement of products from material stage to final inspection and dispatch, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient production flow.
  3. Control all materials, tooling, and components throughout production to delivery, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  4. Work closely with the Shop Floor and Production Control Supervisor to ensure efficient loading and progress of works, meeting target dates and customer demands.
  5. Participate in daily stand-up meetings to discuss production progress, address any issues, and align with team goals.
  6. Assist in wrapping and packing of completed goods for dispatch, ensuring high-quality presentation and timely delivery.
  7. Achieve monthly sales targets and on-time delivery (OTD) by maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  8. Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime.
  9. Recognize and address bottlenecks that could delay the manufacturing process, informing shop supervision and production controllers accordingly.
  10. Work closely with Production Controllers to ensure continuous job progression through manufacturing stages, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively.
  11. Advise production controllers and quality teams in cases of scrap or quality issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to production.
  12. Assist controllers in maintaining customer order books, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  13. Perform any other duties as directed by the Company, supporting the production team and contributing to the overall success of Retrack Personnel Holdings Limited.
