Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Employment/Litigation Solicitor to join our team as Head of Complaints Handling Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling complaints received by the business about the behavior and conduct of employees. The role will involve working closely with the Legal & Business Affairs team, Content Compliance, and HR to ensure that concerns are handled efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and triage concerns raised by employees and external parties
  • Support HR in internal investigations or manage investigations directly with external support if necessary
  • Conduct reviews and investigations as required, including instructing and managing external experts if necessary
  • Report to the Management Board as necessary
  • Support and liaise with external complainants and others to ensure concerns are being handled efficiently and effectively
  • Provide recommendations for effective concern resolution, minimizing reputational, commercial, and legal risk for the organization while upholding the highest governance and ethical standards

Requirements:

  • Highly experienced individual with strong commercial awareness and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional lawyer with a sound understanding and track record of advising in relation to employment law and litigation within a respected commercial environment or at a first-class law firm
