Job Title: Senior Litigation Solicitor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Solicitor to join our Central Government Team. As a Senior Litigation Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of private law claims, including Personal Injury claims. You will use your analytical skills to formulate robust litigation strategies and ensure compliance with established strategies in group work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of private law claims, including Personal Injury claims
  • Use a process of analysis, planning, scheduling, prioritising, action, quality, monitoring and review
  • Display an understanding of the context in which the Government Legal Department operates
  • Formulate robust litigation strategies and ensure compliance with established strategies in group work

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister
  • Strong private law/personal injury litigation experience
  • Good drafting and written skills
  • Ability to meet time and billing targets
  • Experience in managing a busy civil litigation caseload
  • 2 years Post Qualifying Experience desirable
  • Experience in personal injury defendant work desirable
