Project Support Officer

Hoop Recruitment are proud to announce a brand-new and exclusive role with our incredible client based in Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is looking to develop their skills and knowledge further.

About the Role

This position will sit within the Learning and Development team and will play a vital role in the planning and coordination of major projects. Day to day, you will provide efficient administration to support the L&D team and ensure the effective delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for the team, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Work closely with sensitive information relating to projects, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Support the team in ensuring timely delivery of projects, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
  • Monitor, evaluate and assess the progress of work, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Report and analyse information to support project delivery, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes to ensure accurate records.
  • Perform data entry, ensuring all key documents, spreadsheets and data are up to date and accurate.
  • Evaluate and assess project performance, highlighting areas of risk and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Responsible for implementing and ordering supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Administrative experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional support and service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Awareness of policies and procedures, with the ability to apply them in a practical and effective manner.
  • Data entry and minute taking experience, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to speak Welsh (desirable).
