We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at Velocity Recruitment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading main contractors on a high-profile project.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all site activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring high standards of work and health and safety are achieved. You will also be responsible for managing the performance of direct reports and sub-contract labour, and coordinating the activities of different sub-contractors to ensure work is carried out efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all site activities and monitor progress to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of work to ensure high standards of work and health and safety are achieved.
  • Identify potential issues that may affect project delivery and take necessary action.
  • Manage the performance of direct reports and sub-contract labour, ensuring they are working safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate the activities of different sub-contractors to ensure work is carried out efficiently.
Requirements
  • CSCS Black Card
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid
  • Experience in being the lead/sole Site Manager based on site
  • Ability to use Fieldview system
