The Co-Centre for Climate + Biodiversity + Water at Queen's University Belfast is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Fellow to join our team. As part of a new research project, you will play an active role in contributing to two related projects: Projecting vegetation change and Fluxes & stocks of carbon, biodiversity and water.
About the TeamYou will be part of the School of Biological Sciences at QUB but will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team based in the dedicated Co-Centre Hub. The successful candidate will have responsibilities in independent research, supervision, planning, collaborations, and outreach.
About the PersonWe are looking for a candidate with a PhD in ecology or a related field, who has substantial relevant research experience in GIS, geospatial modelling, ecological modelling, land use change and/or climate change impacts. You should also have demonstrable evidence of skills and experience in evaluating evidence, data extraction and collation, data management and handling, synthesis, systematic reviews and/or meta-analysis, report writing and/or peer-reviewed publication.
