Procurement Strategist

Polypipe Civils & Green Urbanisation, a leading manufacturer of water management solutions, is seeking an experienced Procurement Leader to drive strategic sourcing initiatives across our Civils and Green Urbanisation business units.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives and ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services.
• Manage the procurement team and provide guidance on procurement policies and procedures.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead the development and implementation of cost reduction programs that maintain quality and customer satisfaction.

• Proven experience in strategic procurement leadership, with a track record of delivering effective purchasing strategies and policies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market intelligence and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and lead cross-functional projects.
• Strong understanding of procurement policies and procedures, with the ability to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
