As a Business Analyst, you'll play a crucial part in connecting people and countries, working across the globally recognised brands of Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia, Level, and Vueling.

The Role:

As a Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for providing the bridge between the business and Solution Delivery Teams, ensuring solution requirements are captured, understood, and delivered.

You'll work closely with business owners and product owners to capture and describe business needs in a way that enables IT to develop, test, and deploy solutions that deliver target business benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead performance reviews with key stakeholder groups.
  2. Conduct internal functional technology satisfaction surveys and drive continual improvement across the team.
  3. Use structured best practice methodologies to understand business needs, target benefits, and priorities.
  4. Capture and document business requirements in a structured and formatted way that enables IAG Tech (including 3rd party solution providers) to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  5. Support the creation of test cases (technical and business).
  6. Consider both business needs and the IAG Tech Enterprise Architecture Strategy (including defined standards) when supporting IAG Tech with solution design.
  7. Manage the review and sign-off/approval of documented requirements, covering business/customer, quality, defined business analysis/document standards, output, IAG Tech/solution provider.
  8. Deliver on several projects, the breadth and complexity of which will vary depending on experience.
  9. Business partnering, working as a valued partner with senior stakeholders across a diverse operation, delivering a value-added service to business customers.
  10. Strong analytical approach to capturing business requirements, documenting them in a succinct manner.
  11. Ability to recognise priorities and guide others towards the accomplishment of strategic business goals and objectives.
  12. Embracing and managing both business and IT change as necessary to help shape future direction.
  13. Identifies and contributes to the continual improvement of analysis capability across the organisation.
