About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAMHS Practitioner to join our team as a Bank Band 6 CYP Practitioner/Band 7 Therapist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to children and adolescents, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for the daily duty system, ensuring timely and effective management of referrals and risk assessments.
  • Provide comprehensive CAMHS assessments and interventions for children and adolescents, working collaboratively with families and other professionals.
  • Maintain good relationships and clear lines of communication with other professional agencies and departments, providing specialist advice and support where appropriate.
  • Contribute to the effective functioning of the team and service through attendance at relevant meetings and taking responsibilities within the service as negotiated with the line manager.

Person Specification
  • Professional registration with one of the following statutory bodies: the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC), Health Professional's Council (HPC), Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP), The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
  • Relevant professional training and experience working with children and adolescents with mental health needs.
