Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business goals, ensuring long-term growth and financial sustainability.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing insightful analysis to support decision-making at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Oversee all financial reporting and regulatory compliance, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements. Maintain strict adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and manage robust risk management frameworks to safeguard the company's financial health. Implement effective internal controls and ensure sound financial governance.
  • Optimise the company's capital structure, managing cash flow, working capital, and financial investments to support growth initiatives.
  • Play a key role in evaluating potential acquisition opportunities, conducting financial due diligence, and integrating new businesses into the organisation.
  • Drive operational improvements and cost efficiencies across the business, identifying areas for financial improvement and implementing strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Act as a key liaison between the company, its board of directors, investors, and external partners, ensuring transparent communication of financial performance and strategic objectives.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring that the department is equipped with the skills and capabilities to support the company's growth ambitions. Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the finance function.
Requirements:
  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant experience in a senior financial leadership role, ideally within the real estate, property, or professional services sectors.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to align financial strategies with business goals and drive profitable growth.
  • Extensive experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with a sharp focus on detail and accuracy.
  • A solid understanding of financial risk management, governance, and compliance, with the ability to implement effective internal control processes.
  • Strong knowledge of mergers and acquisitions, with experience in financial due diligence and business integration.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • A strategic mindset combined with hands-on experience in delivering operational and financial improvements.
  • Proven leadership ability, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
