We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Proposal Manager to join our team at We Are Adam. As a key member of our Proposals team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering regional and global proposals, with the goal of winning new business and driving revenue growth.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a unique blend of advisory and hands-on skills. You will lead and develop a team of professionals, overseeing the work of Managers and Executives, and work closely with our Business Development Director to enhance our client's best practices and improve client-facing services.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the work of the team on various proposals and opportunities, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Lead and advise on proposals from start to finish, taking full ownership and accountability for their success.
- Guide pipeline preparation, conduct qualification and scoping exercises, and develop unique value propositions that meet client needs.
- Challenge partners and business approaches, coach presentations, gather client feedback, and contribute to onboarding plans.
- Collaborate with Business Development Managers and Partners on key proposals, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
- Provide ad hoc advice on significant proposals, working closely with the Marketing & Business Development team.
- Uphold best practices throughout all proposal stages, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Deliver high-quality work that showcases creativity, bold ideas, and innovative thinking.
- Develop strong fee proposals and alternative fee arrangements with pricing specialists.
- Proven track record in leading complex proposals, demonstrating expertise and innovative thinking throughout the process.
- Experience working in international organizations, within professional or legal services.
- Strong advisory skills, with the ability to challenge partners and consider the client's perspective.
- Exceptional project management and content development abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Advanced IT and formatting skills, with a keen interest in design.
- Excellent teamwork abilities within high-performing teams and matrix structures.
- Bachelor's degree required.
