Estimator and Quality Control Manager

Location: Heathfield, Newton Abbot or Stoke-on-Trent

We are seeking an experienced Estimator and Quality Control Manager to join our team at Centristic Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bulk material handling equipment, including conveyors, crushers, screens, and feeders, within the quarrying industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Estimate bulk material handling projects, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  2. Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and standards
  3. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement quality control processes
  4. Attend site visits and liaise with clients to understand their scope requirements
  5. Read and interpret engineering drawings from CAD models
  6. Populate estimating data into our companies estimating systems
  7. Provide cost analysis against as-built / actual costs
  8. Track, cost, and handle all variations to contract from estimate to order status
  9. Prepare weekly management reports for the team and peers
  10. Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A current driving license is required due to site locations. We offer a competitive starting salary, 20 days' holiday, plus Bank Holidays, and support for further career development.
