Fabric Maintenance Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Fabric Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a leading FM service provider in the industry.

About the Role
  • Carry out Fabric planned and reactive maintenance in a large team on a large building responsible for all landlord services.
  • Work with a shift team of 4 engineers on-site and have an understanding/hands-on experience of various tasks.
Key Responsibilities
  • Basic Carpentry: assemble and install furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Painting and plasterboard: prepare surfaces, apply paint and plaster, and finish with a smooth coat.
  • Changing locks, door hinges, and floor repairs.
  • Minor repairs to office furniture and equipment.
  • Install and repair blinds, and perform basic plumbing tasks.
  • Maintain and update log books, and assist the maintenance team on site.
  • Escort subcontractors and ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
  • City & Guilds/NVQ qualification in a relevant field.
  • Fire Door Inspection certification (desirable).
  • Proven track record in commercial or property maintenance.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic.
