Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Communications expert to play a pivotal role in shaping our digital future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive digital communications strategy to help shape the way we connect with residents and businesses online.
  • Translate proven digital communications expertise into compelling content for our website and social media channels, keeping information fresh, informative and engaging for all audiences.
  • Provide expert guidance and foster a collaborative environment that empowers your team of digital specialists to maximise our online presence and deliver exceptional results.
  • Demonstrate expertise in user-centric social media and web development through experience to date, with a detailed understanding of user experience (UX) principles and accessibility best practices.
  • Use excellent project management skills to deliver a positive and effective online experience, to help foster a meaningful connection between the council and the communities we serve.
